Domaine de Palats
A former priory on ten hectares of countryside in the foothills of the Montagne Noire, southern France.
The estate sits on the site of an ancient Roman villa, its name descending from the Latin palatium: palace. Over the centuries the villa became one of a handful of priories surrounding the old village of Laure-Minervois. Stone gîtes and chambres d'hôtes now sit within courtyards, gardens and woodland. Twenty minutes from medieval Carcassonne, an hour from the Mediterranean coast. A heritage spanning millennia.
Wellness and Hospitality
Private pool, organic Mediterranean gastronomy from locally sourced produce, and the kind of silence that digital life cannot offer. The estate accommodates groups of up to 25 guests for retreats, research residencies and Praxis programme intensives.
